Hexagrams, written over a period of 30 years in response to the great Chinese book of divination and cosmology, the I Ching, or Book of Changes, form an autobiography of sorts. They also operate as meditations on the landscape, ciphers yearning to be free, arguments with the self, and snapshots of ordinary moments in flux.
