FOMITE

Eight years after poet Philip Ramp left America for Greece, he returned for a visit. Everything looked different to him, in a way that he knew he wouldn’t have seen if he had been living there. Arrivals and Departures is based on that experience, with arriving and departing switching roles in the poems, depending on mood and place.

About the Author

Philip Ramp was born in Michigan and attended the University of Michigan. He has lived in Greece for over 50 years (50 of them with his late wife). This book will be his 16th published collection of poetry and there are an equal number of published collections of Greek poets in English translation. Both his poetry and his translations from the Greece have been published in the USA, UK and Greece.
